Question: Updating the Symbian operating system for Omnia HD

I am very intersted in the Samsung Omnia HD, but am concerned at hearing that updates for the Symbian operating system might be difficult to come by, whereas for a Nokia device they would be readily available. IS this a real / current issue?

    This reply may be well after you've found your answer to this, but, as I've just joined here today, that's the best I can do :-)

    I updated the firmware on my i8910 through Samsung's site, so it was an official update, not one of the various leaked ones. Not to say that some of the other countries' updates aren't useful, but it tends to be the case, as far I can see, that one REALLY must know what one is doing then.
    So, I don't see it as an issue.
