With two batteries and a separate charger, the SGH-i780 could be a wise choice for the mobile professional, although it's a bit bulky and the screen is a touch small for some applications. Read more

Samsung's SGH-i780 is unusual for a few reasons. It is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device with a 320x320 pixel touchscreen that sports the BlackBerry style form factor, and it uses an optical mouse for navigation. Jin tests it out in this review. Read more

A pleasant surprise is the second battery included in the box. Individually, the batteries are rated for seven hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby. With its full roster of advanced features and excellent add-on software, the i780 is a solid option for those that want the more powerful Windows Mobile 6 operating system and a QWERTY thumbboard in as compact a footprint as possible. I've just got this handset and it's great - such a slim and sexy design.I like QWERTY keypads because they are so simple and straightforward to use but they often mean carrying a massive handset around - This model features a full QWERTY but is still a nice small handset - Really easy to use with one hand. The number pad config is however a little bit awkward - although I can probably change that, just haven't learned how yet!The flush screen is another nice feature on... I almost think it is pointless having these as I used the stylus pen the majority of times. I would have preferred a bigger... Read more
