Lots of Issues

Mely, Amazon
20 September 2013
  • Summary: This was my first smartphone ever and I was very excited to get it but I had nothing but problems with it. It has a serious memory storage issue of just a few hundred MB even though I inserted a memory card with 8 GB of memory. This phone did not allow me to use the external memory and I even took it to a tmobile store and they told me this phone just couldn't use external memory so I better just get another phone.

Phone won't last its warranty period

caralily, Amazon
3 July 2013
  • Summary: I loved a lot about this phone when I first got it. I prefer slide keyboard texting to touchscreen and wanted a phone with wifi and 3g capability. Being on t-mobile pay as you go, this limits the choices of phones, so I chose this one, having had a regular gravity previously that still works. Within two months, I began having to delete my data almost daily if I wanted to use wifi or 3g. Then, six months in, the phone started dying over a week-long period.

RUN FORREST RUN

Luke G, Amazon
24 February 2013
  • Summary: I would absolutely not recommend buying this phone. After I'd had it for less than eight months the lock button stopped working, and would instead reboot the phone. A month or so after that the lock button menu started popping up randomly, then the phone would reboot itself. In the last ten minutes of attempting to send a single text message, it has rebooted eight times and put itself into airplane mode. Samsung, please drug test whichever employees designed this.

Awful phone. Tmobile uninstallable aps eat up all the phone's memory.

rosesegueda, Ebay
14 January 2013
  • Summary: This is a phone made exclusively for T-Mobile. Samsung and Tmobile worked together to create this phone and Tmobile put alot of their aps -which you cannot uninstall. These Tmobile aps eat up half of the phone's memory. I could only put about 4 aps on the phone and then the phone stops receiving text messages because there is no memory.

I brought it in to t-mobile and they even said this phone is terrible and is a rip off.. I highly suggest NOT buying this phone. I am getting a new phone thank god. I can't stand this phone.!

Bloatware and memory issues

H. Coffill "reckless-abandon", Amazon
3 August 2012
  • Summary: TMobile bundled this phone with so much locked-in bloatware it gives me "out-of-memory" issues EVERY day. I've switched off as much auto-updating of software I do not want and will not use (I'm lookin' at YOU Photobucket!) and I can't really install anything I'd like to use without getting an out-of-memory error. There is no way to shunt software to the 2G SIM card, so the card remains fairly useless, except for photo storage.
