It wouldn't be fair to summarize on it since I got a dud.

Summary: When I recieved this phone it was orange. And I had to order the backdoor and a battery. Which cost me more than this phone was worth. It doesn't even work right. I had to switch back to my old phone. This deep ocean gravity2 I don't know nothing about this orange one will be stomped in the ground soon. Will not order a phone til I read all about the phone.
Excerpt: Okay, i got it for free, but I paid for the plan! Prosbattery lifekeyboarddurabilityreception (rarely drop calls)full keyboard Cons:Slow, laggy. I press a button and have to wait a second for it to load. Not much in absolute terms, but relatively speaking, if i want to send a text, there are like 4 buttons to go through (unlock, menu, send message, reply) other features suck volume not that loud keyboard is kinda difficult as well.
Excerpt: As far as the camera is concerned, It was only 2mp which was absolutely horrible. It was so horrible that I didn’t even use the camera much. For T-Mobile this phone was considered more of a shame. It’s not one of their better phones and personally for the price I think it lived up to it’s expectations. I only paid around $80 for this phone so I’m not shocked that it didn’t live up to other popular phones.
Way too expensive for an SMS phone, not at all worth the price.

Summary: The Gravity 2 is messaging phone, and as such has practically no features. The email "feature" is atrocious and hardly works. The notifications are spouratic at best. The camera is dismal. The screen is pathetic. The slide out keyboard has flat buttons which only respond when Hulk-smashed.
Excerpt: Had this phone for about 6 months and only dropped it a few times. One day the screen completely blacked out when I opened the keyboard and soon the screen wouldn't turn on at all. Had to get a refurbished one but turned out I had to get a Grav3, sucks as well, screen broke after 3 months. Samsung needs to get its s*** together & make a better phone!
Summary: While the original Gravity was a decent phone, the Gravity 2 seems to be a giant step backwards. You do get a better camera and internet access, but the keyboard is considerably worse. Like the Gravity, you can't change the text message noise beyond the phones 5 presets. Ring options remain the same, however if you've turned on text message repeat ring the phone will also keep ringing for non text message events such as voice mails.
Pros: It makes calls and I can text with it, the camera has a night option, long talk time
Cons: Text message time from start up to create: 30 seconds, phone gets 'confused' like a computer, poor camera quality, issues with maintaining network connection, even when there are full bars, freezes during texting fairly often, needs restarts a lot
Pros: Size and weight are good, and it's awfully durable. Been dropped many times, and my 1 year old has drooled/chewed it into oblivion repeatedly but with a bit of dry-time, it springs back into action. That's about the only good thing I can say for it.
Cons: Menus are slow. Media player sucks. Keys are tiny and flat and typing is maddening.
Cons: The keyboard layout is awkward at best, especially if one is used to the original gravity keyboard layout. They keys are flat, and small so it is easy to double tap and miss keys. And worst of all the home screen has to LOAD? What were they thinking?
