Summary: I really like having a touch screen and a Qwerty keyboard on a device that is NOT a smart phone. It's kind of small, so I think it needs a case to keep from dropping it. I've found it easy to use, which is saying a lot for a "cell phone-aphobe".
Summary: I purchased 2 of these phones for my kids since I refuse to purchase a smartphone for them (hello, expensive data packages!!). They really like them so far. They came in great condition and other than a little difficulty getting them activated, which I'm sure has more to do with user error than with the phones themselves, they've worked great!
Summary: I wanted a basic phone that wouldn't require a data plan from Verizon wireless. I've had it for about two weeks now and it seems to work fine despite all the bad reviews on other websites. The only bad thing about it is the battery life. I need to charge the phone daily, even when I don't even use the phone. The phone I bought was used thought, I'm buying a new extended battery and cover for it, maybe that will increase the battery life.
Summary: I consider this to be a very good phone. I purchased it to replace my worn out VX8300 flip phone. I use it to call, text, and occasionally to photo share. This U940 Glyde does everything my VX8300 did, and does it better. Pros: Reliable. Touch screen works well. Battery life similar to VX8300, last approx 18 hrs w/ approx 10 texts and 4ea 10 min calls. Frequently searching for signal significantly reduces my battery charge. Qwerty keyboard simplifies text entries.
