This is NOT an unlocked phone

Wayne D., Amazon
5 April 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this phone based on description that it was an unlocked phone. I even wrote a good review when it arrived on time to my address. Then I took it to London and it did not work. IT IS LOCKED. I bought the SIM only to learn it would not work. I tried to return it when I came back from my trip and was informed that the return period was over. I'm stuck with nonfunctional phone. I am NOT HAPPY.

  • Summary: This was the biggest headache, that no one should experience. The Samsung Galaxy phone arrived on locked mode. No one at Walmart could help me, they told me to contact the Samsung company, which was of no help either. The Samsung company told me to contact my network provider. Contacted TMoblie and was told to contact the place of purchase. I could not use the phone because I needed a network pass code. Had to returned it and purchase another phone. What a hassle.

  • Summary: Shocked and disappointed, phone is international, when I called Samsung they advised to return the phone, because even if I did get an adaptor I would need to work with the Samsung people overseas if anything went wrong. Will return product: maybe that's why it was so cheap.
