Summary: If you are looking for a budget phone this one is worth looking at. Screen runs fairly smoothly but the actual phone memory isn't that big. On the plus side it does come with a micro sd card to expand the memory and various coloured backs.
Summary: I'm sorry to say that despite being a lovely phone and easy to use, the lady who bought this phone for her teenage son is not an 'end user'. I am female and do NOT have large fingers. However, irrespective of whether the phone is portrait or landscape, it's almost impossible to do text messages and quite frankly, the aim of buying a Smart phone was to access quicker texting. Fortunately, I have a stylus, but otherwise, it's a no-no for anyone over 10 years old.
Excerpt: "...and pdf files on your Samsung Galaxy Y. I've not used this feature more than once but it definitely works. There may be some things missed out, please feel free to comment and I can give my opinion on a specific aspect of this product. A list of apps I did not mention as I do not use them or feel they are quite useless - Gmail, FM Radio, social hub, talk, local, voice search, new & weather, samsung apps, and play books. ...
Pros: cheap, reliable, strong reception, many features, strong
Summary: This phone is ideal for those of us who are not very good with technology. I purchased this phone for my husband as he wanted to text friends but found it difficult with a key pad phone, this phone has talk text facility which means he can now text easily (and more to the point it saves me replying to his texts for him) !!
Summary: Bought this for my other half as had poor signal with the mobile he already had so initially was only interested in the 3G capability. We were so impressed with all the features, microphone, quick internet access etc. that I then bought myself one! For the price it gives us everything we need and more, would thoroughly recommend. The colour choice of case meant that we wouldn't get them confused and it was easy to find all the different settings.
Summary: I wanted a smartphone that suited my needs and not one that does everything but slice bread. This model proved to be just right for me. Although the user's instructions are rather minimal, I have managed to work out how to do most things and have downloaded several apps that I think will be useful.
