Samsung Galaxy Y Review

Phone Arena
22 November 2011
  • Conclusion: There isn’t much that piqued our interest while handling the Samsung Galaxy Y , but it is a decent low-end Android handset from a brand name manufacturer. With the patterned silvery back cover and mirrored front we can even say it’s a looker, which usually evades handsets at this price point.
  • Pros: Affordable, Pleasant design
  • Cons: Low ppi count makes screen look pixelated, Subpar camera

Samsung Galaxy Y review

  • Conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy Y is a budget Android aimed at Y for Youth, and offers a basic spec for a basic price. It will stand up against many budget phones but the recent Huawei Ascend G300 , with its four-inch screen and 1GHz processor, shows that the budget Android space is getting ever more advanced.
  • Pros: Compact, good price, 2GB microSD card
  • Cons: Low quality screen, not very distinctive, poor battery life, basic camera functionality

Samsung Galaxy Y

LetsGoMobile
4 April 2014
  • Summary: W ith the Galaxy Y, Samsung has introduced an Android smartphone with many functions, which is accessible to a broad public. That is certainly the case, with a price just over € 100, (at the moment the most inexpensive device-only Galaxy Y costs only € 105). Also in terms of performance and functions that are possible through the Android 2.3 operating system, the Samsung Y can surely compete with more expensive smartphones on the market.

  • Summary: Samsung know that different phones should be aimed at different ages, so when it came to creating a phone for the younger generations, they kept the name simple with the Galaxy Y – “Y” for youth, get it? So just how much simpler is the Galaxy Y? Well, probably less than you might expect.

La connettività è completa, non mancano, Wi-fi , Bluetooth e GPS, il touchscreen è di discreta qualità e il sistema operativo è quello più in voga al momento. Il settore più scarso è quello fotografico, con una fotocamera decisamente migliorabile.
