One month into ownership I discovered this phone was great at one thing

Roman Hans, Amazon
11 July 2014
  • Summary: One month into ownership I discovered this phone was great at one thing: putting itself into weird modes. If you're lucky, it'll just be "safe mode," and you'll just have to pull the battery out. If you're unlucky, it'll be "emergency call" mode, and you'll have to do a factory reset. Which wipes out everything. Oh, but it's easy to restore -- you just have to re-download every app you want, re-type in all your passwords, etc., etc., etc. This phone is cheap.

I thought for the price it would be great to upgrade to 4G LTE network

Jason P Hughes, Amazon

  • Summary: I just got the Samsung Galaxy victory. Before this I had the ZTE AWE N800. Both of which are 4 virgin mobile. I thought for the price it would be great to upgrade to 4G LTE network. I've had the Samsung Galaxy victory for 4 days it's nothing but problems. For some reason it keeps running slow! I've disabled like 60 apps! And yet for some reason is still running in the high 80's I can use the phone. That is the running apps mod.

Man I hate this phone

Jacob Bowen, Amazon
21 June 2014
  • Summary: I got this phone because my galaxy reverb was crap. it shut off on its own, wouldn't open apps, took for-freaking-ever to navigate anywhere, wouldn't send messages, missed calls, kept erasing my music I'd download, etc. ...This phone does everything mentioned above. Hopefully I don't have a life or death situation where I'd need to make a phone call because it takes several attempts and a long waiting time to pull up the dang number pad.

  • Summary: I had to delete all my apps. Have had phone 5 months and the operating system has taken all storage, I can only use as a phone, texting, pictures are on external sd card. This phone is not worth buying.
  • Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
  • Cons: Did not meet expectations, can not add any apps. system to big

If you like apps this isn't your phone

SamLM, Samsung
21 March 2014
  • Summary: First of all I purchased this phone as an upgrade from a Samsung express, which didn't have a lot of internal memory either, but you could put your apps on the sd card. This phone you don't have that feature and ONLY 2gb for apps that includes installed and running. You can't move apps to the sd card unless they are larger than 1GB. I have yet to see an application that is 1GB. Live chat was absolutely no help whatsoever.
  • Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight
  • Cons: Did not meet expectations, 2gig internal memory, sd card will only take video music, apps will not run from sd card

Jose C., Amazon

  • Summary: Bought this phone and it looked and worked wonderfully but sprint could not activate it because some problems either it was lost or stolen. I really needed too but like they say if its too good to be true it probably is.
