Poor performance, terrible memory handling
3 weeks ago
Summary: This phone is constantly running out of storage. Updates from Google are eating up the phone, along with all of the other apps that appear to be mandatory. Having had a Galaxy S before this phone, I anticipated a much better performance than I received. The old Galaxy still out performs this kluge in everything but speed... the stellar is 4g. But, I have to delete any apps I WANT on my phone that I PURCHASED for my own use if I want to have pictures on the phone.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, mandatory apps i don't use, doesn't handle external storage well., no useful updates from verizon or samsung.
Summary: As a happy Galaxy S user for over 2 yrs, when I needed a new phone I only looked at Samsung. Verizon wanted a small fortune for the Galaxy S III, but also had the Galaxy Stellar for a much more reasonable price so I took it. Huge mistake -- this cheezy gadget should not even have the Galaxy name on it. On paper it may seem like a solid mid-range phone, but living with it for a few days proves otherwise.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, feels like a toy, poor signal reception
