Do not get this phone
19 October 2014
Excerpt: Honestly, my biggest problem with this phone is the fact that it's too small. The keyboard is nearly impossible to use on this size of display, and I use a lot of typing-heavy apps. Also, I was very excited to get an SD card to really maximize memory usage...
Excerpt: This phone is constantly running out of storage. Updates from Google are eating up the phone, along with all of the other apps that appear to be mandatory. Having had a Galaxy S before this phone, I anticipated a much better performance than I received.
Excerpt: I got this phone as a replacement when my phone became damaged. All my previous smartphones had been Samsung, so I figured that it would be a great phone too. Let me start with what I like about this phone: You can show/hide apps.
Excerpt: This is a very poor excuse for a Smart Phone, lacking internal memory. This phone only has 4 Gig of Internal Memory, most Apps Cannot be moved to your SD Card, and the Operating System uses over 2 Gig of your Internal Memory.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for 4 months. It drops calls constantly, does not deliver text messages, doesn't get good service (I have Verizon), shuts off randomly, deletes contacts, takes FOREVER to do the simplest things....
Excerpt: I have had this phone for almost a year at first I liked it but now it is not the same. Volume is never the same speaker barely works and useless apps are installed that can not be removed. Takes up room and you don't use them. Battery life is good.
Excerpt: As a happy Galaxy S user for over 2 yrs, when I needed a new phone I only looked at Samsung. Verizon wanted a small fortune for the Galaxy S III, but also had the Galaxy Stellar for a much more reasonable price so I took it.
