Summary: Is a good phone... not very fast, it is very durable and has passed the "beach" test. But good god it's memory is AWFUL!!! It is a barely useful phone because of that. The ammount of internal memory is LAUGHABLE!
Summary: IP-68 standard ? is a standard for laboratory test !!! the reality is different 30 min. in 1 meter deep water ? the hardware stop working after 12 min. one hour under the hair dryer , make it working again complete working only after 3-4 days the thing is NOT waterproof !!! i don't want to drop it , heat and low temperature ? i don't want to know it 1700 mA battery ? is weak but but as a smart phones !?
Summary: The phone works wery well at the beginning, but soon it is going to complaint about no internal memory and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is startiong to not work. i have had this phone now since january and i have talked with severeal people that also has it and we are all not satisfied with this cellphone. it is waterproof first yes, but the protection for the chargingsystem is poorly made.
Summary: Bought this phone to 'upgrade' from my Moto DEFY as its Android OS is very dated now. Well the xcover2 maybe waterproof, but it's certainly not shock proof. Dropped this phone from approx. 18" onto its edge on tarmac while putting a lead on the dog and the 'gorilla' glass screen shattered, and a big chunk piece off the case! Can't be repaired apparently. Other major downside is that downloaded apps can't be transferred to the SD card. Not so smart Samsung.
Touch phone vs QWERTY, lowdown. XC2 more reciving than sending...

Excerpt: So. Smart phones has for quite some while been associated to a degree of almost being synonymous with touch phones, and I've resisted buying one for quite some time, as they have certain flaws compared to smart phones with keys. Getting the Xcover2 was kind of a compromise, as getting a key smart phone with sufficient CPU/Ram to run smoothly has become increasingly hard.
Pros: Huge screen, sturdy design, sound quality
Cons: Battery life, must - look - at - screen - while - typing
Summary: With this phone I am satisfied but there is one major problem due to his internal memory because it is too small to install all that I need and it is a big problem because Itka sensing Memory 4GB but to actually do exist 1GB and there's nothing you can do but the universe Phone outweigh all the rest that are written in the specification.
Summary: Saw this tough smartphone and thought great. Wrong! The screen and pad on the 1st one broke in my pocket, so completely knackered. Bought another one (stupidly) and pretty much the same thing happened but this time just the super tough gorilla glass 2 broke. No response from Samsung. DONT BUY IT!!
Mind of its own and not as water tight as one would think.

Summary: I'm not the biggest fan of touch screen phones, but was after a rugged phone that could be knocked about a bit whilst out on the allotment in all weathers. Had mine for one day, didn't get as far as outside, just tested indoors, before sending it back to Amazon. Turned on phone, installed the latest updates, along with a few old apps from a previous Android device.
