Fragile, not "active" at all
Summary: This phone is marketed as an "active" phone. Instead, it is incredibly fragile. It dropped one foot from a kneeling position (not from a moving car) and the screen shattered. It is hundreds of dollars to fix. Spend your money elsewhere. Never had a phone so fragile.
Summary: As a smart phone, the active is what you would expect. However, don't assume it is rugged. However, any corner shot will result in cracked screen. IT IS NOT SHOCK RESISTANT ! ! ! ! ! Go into it with your eyes open.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not shock resistant
Summary: My phone was in about 3-5 inches of water for a max of 10 seconds and it got water inside both cameras, on the battery, and messed up my screen. I was so excited about getting my new phone and it failed me on 4th of July. I only had it for 1 week! Very disappointed. I have another one on the way because of my protection plan so we will be testing it when it comes in.
Summary: Wanted a waterproof phone for taking pictures of my little one on holiday. Tested it in the sea for about 5 minutes whilst snorkelling, so well within the 1 metre depth limit. The phone stayed dry but water in the headphone socket kept fooling the phone into thinking headphones were being constantly plugged in and then removed. I shook the water out of the socket and this stopped. So, OK so far...
Summary: I am now on my 4th ACTIVE since Sept. The first 2 phones had the "black screen of death" and the 3rd was damaged in WATER ,the phone was securely sealed and I also had the floater cover on it!!!! I am under contract with the phone and that is the only reason I keep getting new ones, At&t will not replace it with a new model. WORTHLESS!!!
