Summary: Great phone. Better than any other Virgin Mobile Smartphone. I first purchased the Samsung Galaxy Victory and the Samsung Galaxy S2 is way better than the Victory. The screen is more vibrant and the phone is thinner. The only downside of the Galaxy S2 is that it is WiMax but then my home area does not have 4G LTE or WiMax Coverage anyways so I always use it in 3G mode.
Summary: came in package; easy to set up; the battery seems to burn quickly when playing games; but the quality of the calls is crystal clear. I have had virgin mobile phones for 10 years, this is one of the better phones i've had, easy to navigate functions, very happy with my purchase!
Summary: Great phone highly recommend it if u want a decent phone, and can't afford the S3 or S4.
Pros: Responsive, fast, tons of storage space.
Cons: data connection is 4G, not 4G LTE., ALL stock samsung batteries are garbage, all u guys that complained about battery life should buy a rayovac battery, i listen to pandora all day at work and still have battery left at the end of the day.
Summary: I love this phone, but there are some drawbacks. The battery life is poor; with frequent use, the phone doesn't get me through the whole day and I am even using a low brightness setting. Also, sometimes the phone will randomly shut off, but this doesn't happen too often. And lastly, when the phone charges, it almost seems like it gets too hot and I don't want it to overheat so I take off the phone case while it charges.
Summary: My rating is based on the phone itself i.e. the Samsung Galaxy SII is a great phone and good value for the money. However, I wanted to point out a few things about this particular model. (Note: in the US, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all have different models of the SII. They are different in size and several other details. In fact, AT&T alone has, over time, had 3 different models of the Samsung Galaxy SII built just for them).
Excellent phone by Virgin Mobile with few shortfalls
13 July 2013
Summary: This is a quality prepaid smartphone with excellent useability. Much better than the HTC One V offered by Virgin Mobile which was extremely sluggish. This phone at times has trouble keeping up with running processes but the experience is mostly good. Pros: - Mostly smooth interface - Great camera - Jellybean ( I HIGHLY recommend updating to this. Make the phone run much quicker!
