Summary: I was a previous US Cellular customer. I switched to "Straight Talk" by Tracfone under the promise of unlimited coverage in the 26836 zip code for $45 a month. I received the phone on August 10th and had to wait days for a SIM card to transfer my old number. Before my old number was even transferred, I noticed problems in service and coverage of 2 bars tops on good days!
Summary: I initially was not sure whether that was the right item. I chose to try it anyhow. It is serving my needs. But the product was not identified as coming from AT&T. I am nevertheless satisfied that it is GSM and can be unlocked by myself.
Summary: This phone was more or less a gift from my son as he has been gifting money to Amazon for different occasions for me. I finally decided I wanted this phone to replace an LG phone with Net 10. I love this phone because it is fast, holds a lot of stuff, takes great pics, videos and I even recorded an "Elvis" Concert with Chris MacDonald on it. It was clear as a bell. I know it's not the 3 or 4, but it's good enough for me.
Summary: The phone works fine, but when I received it it was still connected to the previous account. The company that sold it on amazon have me no help until after 4 phone calls, I finally got a hold of someone that could help me. Even then, it took him a few days to get everything squared off. All-in-all, I couldn't use the phone until over a month after I got it.
Summary: I have the boost mobile plan and I have no complaints about boost mobile and the service. My complaint has to do with the phone and the hardware. When I first purchased the phone last November, which was almost a year ago, I got the replacement plan, and replaced my phone after 6 months because it stopped charging. It would get overheated. So I replaced it and paid over $100 to replace it.
