Great at first, very slow and laggy later
1 week ago
Summary: This was a great phone back when I had it when it was current, however we purchased two of these, and some 8-12 months later they have become quite laggy all the time for no apparent reason. Tried cleaning up bloatware and a few other things, but nothing seems to be causing the problem or able to fix it. Not sure what the issue is with it.
Summary: Awesome phone. Just got it, still learning about all of it's features and setting it up to my taste, but so far I LOVE IT. It has much more features than I'm sure I will ever need, and so far I see no downside. Having access to the FULL Google Play App Store is wonderful. (I've recently returned a Firephone after trialing it for two weeks; and returned a defective foreign version, knock-off brand of another rugged smartphone).
Summary: It was a nice phone however after 6 months of research and time consuming shopping I come to find out that it is truly not unlocked and despite my efforts to assure correct frequency, 4G LTE capabilities, and numorous phone discussions with network techs, it just won't work with my provider...a disappointment to my daughter whose Xmas gift it was. Additionally, I find out after we get replacement that it didn't have emojis (which was disappointing to her!).
Excerpt: I've had this phone for a long time. (about a year). Its been a good phone. the build quality is kind of cheap. reception seems good enough. call quality is ok best with headphones. Internet works great. Camera is actually pretty good though there is a annoying dark spot that always shows up on my pictures and i did clean it recently. it is quite fast. the battery is pretty good. and I am running 4.4.4 kitkat. I cracked my screen.
Stopped working after three months and the Seller doesn't care
Paulo V., Amazon

Summary: Stopped working right after the third month. It just turned off when I was sending a message and we're never able to turned it on again. Either it's a problem with Samsung or with the ones sold by this seller. It's worth mentioning that once we contacted the seller to report the problem, as I said, right after the 90 days, all we got was the following message: "We're sorry. More than 90 days have passed since you placed this order from Oakland Wireless.
