Summary: I had this for phone for almost 3 years now. Battery lasted for 2 years until I bought a new one, which isn't bad for a smart phone. I like how the phone is light, simple, and very easy to use. Most of apps I've downloaded were capable with the Samsung Galaxy S 4G like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Lookout, Pandora etc. EXCEPT for Yahoo Mail and Snap Chat (Snap Chat just keeps crashing whenever I open up the app).
Summary: I have had this phone for several years and needed a replacement when I dropped mine and damaged it beyond repair. This is a great product although, somewhat outdated with all the new phone technology out there. It works great for me. I am not a technology junkie like some and just want the phone features to work and be able to use my navigation app and a few additional personal apps. For me, this is perfect.
Summary: I would have given this model 2-3 stars originally because it comes loaded with a ton of useless bloatware that takes most of the memory, It even had a copy of the movie Inception on it taking up space! It used to have the Wi-Fi or GPS freeze every couple of days and I would have to turn it off then back on to reset it, then it got to the point that I couldn't even install updates because there wasn't enough memory.
Summary: Just as promised this unlocked Samsung Galaxy S 4G is great. Setup was easy with my new Straight-Talk (Tracfone) SIM card. I now have 4G speed on the Straight-Talk network. The phone I was going to buy from Walmart for the same price had a smaller 3.5 in screen, a slower 850Mhz processor & a lower resolution 3 M-pixel camera...yuck! This is a much nicer phone, calls sound good, Tunein radio plays streaming music great. Everything works like new!
