Good but not great

Summary: - The search button is messed up. I repeatedly presses itself whenever it pleases, To get it to stop i have to lock the phone, i usally wipe the screen/buttons in hopes that helps then unlock it. This is probably the biggest annoyances i have ever had with a phone.
Pros: Big-ish screen, Metal case, back cover lock is very good, the way its designed makes it so it never comes off even when dropped. Android based so jail breaking is easy and helpful to get rid of the bloat ware.
Cons: So after having this phone for a long time it has had some definite downsides. The only fix for this is to turn off the search button in the code of the phone.
Summary: "I am using this phone since Sept 2010. It is a great phone with superb features. It is a real LCD t.v It is also very fast.No flash support for the camera. But the pictures are very clear. It is far far better than I phone, nokia N8,and milestone.
Summary: "First I or andriod phone ever. Easy to use but oh boy does it eat battery power. You should get 2 socket chargers for definate not just 1 socket and 1 USB. Basic aps use will never last 1 day, not even 1 night. When it reaches low power it should cut to phone useage only to give you emergency cover that is a worry so even an in car charger should be standard or 2nd battery till they get this right. Especially with the cost of contract.
Excerpt: I loved this phone at first. It was my very first smartphone and I loved how it could do so much. A month after I first got it, I started having problems with it. I still have this phone since I paid so much for it, but if I had the choice again, I would have done my research a little more before picking this phone out.
Phone is OK but I wish I would have gone with Droid or iPhone

Excerpt: I was so excited to get a smartphone, but have been kind of disappointed in this one. It has many features that I love, but some things that I don't like. I have had a really hard time getting used to texting without the dial pad option. I love to text and now it is a joke with my family that it takes me so long to write texts now. I wish it had the option of using the dial pad to text, but so far I haven't found a way. I love all the apps it has available for free.
Excerpt: When I got this phone I just wanted a cheap smart phone and it worked out okay. I found out that the headphone jack didn't work and had to return it. I got a refurbished phone and the head phone jack still doesnt work and the phone freezes all the time. As soon as my upgrade is ready, I am getting rid of this phone! The ticker bar at the bottom of the phone seemed like a good idea when I got it, but it is really just wasted screen space.
Needs a lot of improvement to fully qualify as a 'smartphone'

Excerpt: I think Samsung Galaxy S is a good phone for voice and texting usage, but needs a lot of improvement to fully utilize the 'smartphone' capability. Battery was already dying after just over a year of usage Screen freezes randomly when using apps. Need to remove battery as there's no way to get it responding again. Call quality is good. I think this phone is good for the normal voice call and texting usage.
Excerpt: When this phone is working properly, I love it. The problem is that I've had a lot of issues with it. I bought my first one about 6 months ago. In that time, it's been replaced under warranty 4 times. It seems like something is always going wrong with it. Some of the problems I've experience- the phone taking screen shots on its own, not being able to place or receive calls, the home buttons locking up, the screen locking, etc.
Excerpt: I have had my facinate for over 1.5 years now. It is getting a bit old, but I still like it! It functions kind of like an iphone and the screen is bigger than the iphone, which I like. The phone gets good reception. There are a few things I would change: 1. Being able to set specific ringtones for text messages from certain people 2. Extend the battery life. After about 8 months, the battery started to loose power quickly. I am constantly recharging it. 3.
Excerpt: If you're an Android lover, you'll probably adore this phone. If you have no Apple/Android bias, you two will be very happy with each other. But this phone was blah to me. It made my calls, it sent my texts and got a few apps. Given that it didn't crash and restart randomly. And it takes what seems like years to 'reboot.' I had flashbacks of Windows '98 when this thing was starting up.
