Samsung GT-S7562 Galaxy S Duos Unlocked GSM Dual SIM Smartphone

Summary: I purchased this phone for a friends birthday which I attended out of the country. Sadly I had to take the phone home with me. The case did not close and the button found on the face at the bottom was unattached. I took it to a local repair shop and they said the phone is defective and should be sent back.
Excerpt: If you plan to buy this phone, there is a lot of points you have to consider. Thinking of it as a high end phone is impossible, and even it can't be a mid end. I though when buying it that at least it will be smooth enough for day to day tasks, but unfortunately it was EXTREMLY SLOW. However, I have rooted it removed many of the the phone system applications(with some which are important), bought an SD card, and transfered everything there.
Excerpt: The phone has the hardware to run android 2.x but it has installed android 4.x. You can only have one app loaded, so if you open a web browser, after u use it u have to go to kill the process or the phone becomes a stone. Waiting 15 seconds to load the camera, waiting up to 1 minute to unlock the screen or even turning it on, and at some point I couldn't even take calls because people hang up before the phone let me answer because it freezes.

Summary: Was not happy when I received the phone. It showed signs that it had been used. So needles to say I was not happy. I have never had this happen when I ordered from overstock. I would still order from them.
Summary: Indeed the worst experience I ever had after purchasing such a stupid manufacturer's device.when your internal memory get full, you are left behind with a slow, hanging & warming device. No option in the apps manager for "cache clearing"or"Move To Memory Card".your internal memory will be full, memory card will be empty & emailing to samsung support will result in non resolving stupid answers
Excerpt: So, my husband it actually the one out looking for a new phone after wanted to upgrade from an iphone 3... he ran across a samsund captivate. To his suprise, he actually liked it, and made the purchase. LIttle did he know that once he got home and started using it, he would grow to DISLIKE it alot. The main problems he had was the locator , or the map on it... it was always "off location " and that drove him INSANE! He took it back and exchanged for the same thing...
maybe i got a lemon, but the samsung captivate was AWFUL!!

Excerpt: So, when i first got the Captivate I thought it was the best invention since sliced bread. I was tired of not being able to customize the iphone and the colors and huge screen on the Captivate drew me in immediately! I had the phone for 32 days and then, out of nowhere, it began messing up. Mind you, it was never dropped or wet or anything of the sort. I had it in a case as I walked out of the store!
Summary: I found this to be a very difficult phone to use - compared with my much simpler Nokia, it took a lot of operations just to make a phone call. It then refused to divert among several other functions that failed. The seller was not very helpful, I returned the phone to them and they had not refunded me a month later, despite reminders.
