Feeling Connected with a Great Phone and Even Better Price!

Summary: Had my new Samsung Blaze for a week now. I do building maintenance and have always used small cheap flip phones for ease of use and durability. Getting the Blaze I have to do a little bit of playing daily to get used to all the features I never had before. Thank Heaven for my kids! lol Screen is so clear! Speaker phone is easy and so clear! Camera is extremely clear but figuring out how to view my pics or download/send pics is a little clumsy.
Excerpt: This phone isn't bad. It's the first smart phone after having a flip phone for years. Most things work fine for what it is but a few things have really bothered me. There is only 1GB of internal storage and with the stock ROM, you can't move the apps to the SD card so once the storage is full, you're done, no more apps. The other big down side is the swipe keyboard. It's MUCH worse than other Samsung Galaxy products, constantly putting the wrong words in.
Pros: Small, Nice design, Clear vibrant screen
Cons: TINY Storage - You WILL run out of space on internal storage
Summary: This was my first smartphone and will be my last Galaxy. For the price, I didn't expect high-end performance but I also didn't expect that after only four months of very light use, the battery would fail to charge or hold a charge. I replaced both the battery and the charger to no avail. I've since heard that battery problems are common with the Galaxy line so I'm dumping this pup and will get myself an iPhone tomorrow.
Summary: There's nothing intuitive about this phone, & unlike some other smart phones, it's neither attractive nor reliable. I suspect it thinks it's smarter than the user, as it frequently hangs up in the middle of a call (without being touched), or suddenly starts calling another number, loudly, while I'm in the middle of a conversation (and then has the audacity to hang up on my call and put the call IT chose to initiate through instead.
Summary: Bought this at a fraction of the price, it is one of the best samsungs out there. Just a word of caution think twice before updating the software. With little memory the new software would cause it to slow down considerably.
Summary: Old tech now, but still good value for the price. It does the things I was looking for [including phone calls]. It also fits my hand, which is a problem with the newer phones. My only issues are with the available memory. As with many phones, it is overloaded with unnecessary apps.
