The battery is awful.
5 May 2014
Summary: This phone has good points and bad. I bought this phone for the price and features. The battery is awful! If I am lucky, it lasts an hour. I like the features it has but have not used much of them. This is my first smart phone, so have needed help from my teenagers to get me started and still ask them about how to do this or that. It freezes up at times while I am playing the one game that was downloaded and need to restart phone. It has shut down a few times.
It's an OK phone but nothing compared to whats out there today

Excerpt: I've had this phone since June 2012. I feel that the overall quality is kind of cheap as many other smartphones are built with stronger plastics, even metal and kevlar these days. This phone's battery life doesn't hold up, even with phones that were built around the same time, the battery would drain in less than 10 hours, even with light usage.
Summary: Phone works like it should but has some quirks. At times your voice will get strange when talking to others and the phone will just shut off by itself. The battery life is not good at all and you should always carry a charger with you.
Good phone. Not the latest, but still does a good job.

Summary: If you are looking for an inexpensive smartphone, this is one of the best ones you will find. The only problem I had with it was the battery life. It could be better. It is not too bad either. For the price, this smartphone is a great option. I like the fact that, with a Sim card, it supports 4g lte. It takes good pictures. The 8 megapixel camera is great and captures great detailed images. Not the best, but it does it's job well.
Summary: I've had this phone for 16 days right? I even bought an extra battery so I'd have it when the first one died. LIttle did I know I would be swapping batteries daily!! AND...the worst part?...I haven't had anything running on it!!- no apps (don't know how to get them going yet), no browser, the brightness is on auto...all I do is send an occasional text and CHECK my email. This is clearly a serious design flaw and must be addressed.
Pros: Beautiful screen, Large virtual keyboard for texting
Cons: 1. Very displeased w/the battery life!!, 2. VERY displeased w/the battery life!!
Excerpt: I've owned this phone for quiet a while now. i always have 2 phones at any given time, this one is my steady phone. The other I use for a few months to test it out then move on. For an older phone it isn't too bad. The sigle core is the main hassel, along with battery, but if you don't care much for specs then good phone to have.
Pros: Internet, Call Quality, Display
Cons: Lagging, Freezing, Unreceptive screen, Battery, Speakers, Single Core
This phone is only for geeks that root or customers that don't buy apps.

Summary: This phone is for two types of users, one that roots the phone and deletes all of the Samsung and Verizon bloatware, or the customer that does not buy any apps from the Android Market or any other store. This phone only has 373MB of memory. So when you have all of that Samsung and Verizon bloatware there is very little run time memory for any other programs. This is why you must root the phone and delete te bloatware so that you can buy apps and they can run efficiently.
Outdated hard keys are tacky, but swype and 4g lte makes up for it

Summary: I'm glad I got this phone on ebay, rather than from verizon. For me the main drawback is the physical dedicated buttons. How many smartphones even have that feature? Most phones have softkeys if any. These hard keys are just more hardware to go bad. I guess samsung cut production costs by going this route. For those of us who use the music player, I found the interface to be more tedious than my motorola droid.
I mean I'm alway looking for one great thing& with patience i will find it.

Summary: I have to quit buying phones on line.Thinking I would save money instead of signing up for 2 years. You buy a Samsung droid charge (verizon) thinking the phone would not be that old.But as you think it would still be under warranty as told by the one you bought it from, but its not. Verizon does not want to help you unless you buy the phone from them.I bought this phone on Ebay I said.
