  • Summary: Samsung Droid charge 4g works great and accepts 3G and digital services in areas where 4g is not available. Can't go wrong with the price and function is similar to smart phone Samsung 3 and 4 without the excess price. All the apps are available if it's not already included in the phone. It's a bit heavy and bulgy as oppose to the newer samsung. The camera is very clear and improve version over the earlier model.

The battery is awful.

us.moi8, Ebay

  • Summary: This phone has good points and bad. I bought this phone for the price and features. The battery is awful! If I am lucky, it lasts an hour. I like the features it has but have not used much of them. This is my first smart phone, so have needed help from my teenagers to get me started and still ask them about how to do this or that. It freezes up at times while I am playing the one game that was downloaded and need to restart phone. It has shut down a few times.

It's an OK phone but nothing compared to whats out there today

  • Excerpt: I've had this phone since June 2012. I feel that the overall quality is kind of cheap as many other smartphones are built with stronger plastics, even metal and kevlar these days. This phone's battery life doesn't hold up, even with phones that were built around the same time, the battery would drain in less than 10 hours, even with light usage.

Samsung's worst device ever created: HEED THIS WARNING!

urface19, Phone Arena
30 January 2014
  • Excerpt: This phone is not a phone, this phone can barely be considered to be a paperweight as it's so fragile I could sneeze and cause it to freeze! At times the phone lags so much that when imputing text into a text message the phone won't even register what I am typing until I close the app from the task manager, MULTIPLE TIMES!!!
  • Pros: Nothing. Really Nothing., How about nothing with a side of disapointment, Really Nothing
  • Cons: everything that has to do with the term "phone"

Pretty good phone for the price you pay.

  • Summary: Phone works like it should but has some quirks. At times your voice will get strange when talking to others and the phone will just shut off by itself. The battery life is not good at all and you should always carry a charger with you.

Good phone. Not the latest, but still does a good job.

  • Summary: If you are looking for an inexpensive smartphone, this is one of the best ones you will find. The only problem I had with it was the battery life. It could be better. It is not too bad either. For the price, this smartphone is a great option. I like the fact that, with a Sim card, it supports 4g lte. It takes good pictures. The 8 megapixel camera is great and captures great detailed images. Not the best, but it does it's job well.

UGGGH pretty much describes it all

  • Summary: Everything that could have gone wrong with this phone virtually did. I got one of these for a good deal from one of my office-workers (NIB as he had plans of using it for a replacement phone but never did) I now know why he decided to take the DROID razr M. I had been previously using a RAZR MAXX and loved that phone but as the battery went out I decided rather than get that fixed, use this alternative and buy the phone for $40.
  • Pros: The screen and camera
  • Cons: Everything else

Great Value for the money! You won't go wrong, if you treat it as a friend!

  • Summary: I have had Samsung SCH i510 Droid Charge for over a year now and this: The power of Droid collides with the speed of 4G LTE. It's exactly what you'd expect from the collision of Droid power and Verizon 4G LTE network speeds. And more. Boasting a hypnotic Super AMOLED Plus display with detail and color you never imagined possible in a mobile device, it is the fastest, most powerful Droid ever created. Brace yourself for what this droid does now.

Literally the WORST phone I've ever owned.

mymammoth, CNET
26 February 2013
  • Summary: I'm a long-time Verizon customer and have owned many phones throughout the years- ranging from the FIRST camera phone from LG in 2002, to the enV, the Dare, the original Motorola Droid (which was a great phone, by the way) to now owning the Samsung Droid Charge. You would think as technology improved, the phone would get better and the experience would get better, but this is not the case.
  • Pros: I only paid a penny for it on Amazon in December 2011.
  • Cons: See below, there are many!
