Good phone, however both of mine had call quality problems...
Summary: I have had two phones like this. The first one served me well -- it is authentically waterproof, and the flaps over the ports really helped keep dust out. (This is important, since I work in a woodworking shop.) With time, however, the flap over the micro usb broke off, so it no longer was waterproof. Then the call issues started. The person on the other end just couldn't understand me. I tried holding the phone differently, changing settings, etc. but nothing helped.
Summary: It works better than it's prior model but it has some issues. It doesn't like being between head and shoulder, distorts outgoing mic conversation. Unit has also locked up and required a hard restart. I think Samsung is falling short on their quality lately.
Summary: On the second day I accidently dropped phone while removing from pants pocket (under 3 ft. fall) and the screen cracked. My Tundra is more durable and easier to use, needed a rugged smart phone to process credit cards.
Summary: When I first purchased this phone, it WAS the perfect mix of - Durability: water resistant, dust proof Performance: Had great connectivity anywhere and slipped from WiFi to 4Glte without missing a beat Ease of use: Pull down menu to Globally control the phone, including Mobile Data enable/disable and vibrate on/off Great, easy to read appearance- android color theme of light on dark (white text, black background) with thick fonts were great on the eyes in any lighting.
Summary: Its a cool looking and operating phone, no issues there. PROBLEM is the title and description are very misleading. "military grade", shock proof, etc. This is NOT a job phone like it states. I work in a rough environment, the military. This phone needs a hard protective case for the abuse, not even abuse, just a simple drop. Trust me on this one, I dont have a inch of profit to earn from this. If you buy this, get a case. Personally, get a better samsung phone!!!
Pros: cool operating , samsung galaxy , easy to use
Summary: My husband has this phone and since he is pretty accident prone when it comes to phones, I had really high hopes that this phone would last. Unfortunately, there was a small crack in the screen within just a few weeks of him having the phone. Now, less than a year later, we are having to completely replace the phone because the whole screen has spider webbed. It still works but the screen just cracks too easily for my husband.
Summary: I like the durability, it is tuff. But I also have a Droid X that is far more reliable when it comes to Conductivity. 4G is useless. If I don't have wifi, I can't do anything but talk and text.
