Summary: The Samsung Galaxy Rugby pro has a lot of functionality as a mobile device and camera. In case Samsung reads this I must remind them it is a Cell Phone. The phone quality sucks. I bought this phone because Cnet gave it very high ratings and said that the phone quality was above average. When I call my wife, she tells me I sound like I am under water and she can't hear me and will hang up if I call her from this phone.
Summary: Ruggedness and being IP67 were the main reaasons I have purchased this item. Well, the phone as a phone itself is really great - fast, good screen, etc. The Bluetoooth is not ideal, but for phone calls it was acceptable (didn't want to connect through the music channel), but this is not a big problem. The main and only frustration is that it is not waterproof. I poured the very small amount of the liquid on it just a couple of times and it stopped being able to charge.
Summary: I'm now on my second replacement phone. As the phone would shut down for no reason and everything I download ended up on my husbands phone. I felt like and had to push many times to get the keyboard to even work. Battery life barely makes it though the day. With average use. I set up different tones for my contacts without it actually working. The phone is almost twice as thick at the Samsung galaxy and is tight to fit in your pocket.
Summary: We purchased this to be durable in the field for construction workers and it is, very few broken phones but we have tons of performance and call quality issues.
Pros: Durable, Most users wont need a case
Cons: Slow - after a while the phone gets slow moving from app to app, Bad reception - we have to hold the phone away from our faces for users to hear us. If its pressed against our face the call gets muted, Battery - With email setup barely makes it a day
If it wasn't for the God awful keyboard it would be great.

Summary: Yes I am a switched Blackberry user. I have tried an Iphone and this is my second android phone. I really really miss my Blackberry. The features on this phone are really cool and all but when it comes down to it, the keyboard is the main component for texting, browsing, IMing, or using any of the calender features. AND THIS KEYBOARD IS TERRIBLE. There are two installed and they are both just God awful terrible.
Summary: I went to my cell provider to "upgrade" because I was starting to feel my battery life was not what it should be. I was charging too often. I never would have believed that I would need to charge my new phone twice a day. I could not be more disappointed with this phone and it's battery life.
Summary: This phone was pretty good up until about a month later. The software updates never work, I've had it flashed twice to reset the software due to malfunctions. I'm on the second battery since the thing can't hold a charge. It plays games with me when it comes to texting (randomly decides when it wants to let you type andwhen it doesn't). The wifi always says it has an error leading to restarting the phone.
