CAN'T MOVE APPS TO SD CARD
27 September 2013
Summary: I was very disappointed that apps could not be moved from the phone to the SD card. What is the SD card there for then??????????????????? 2gb of my phone memory was used up very quickly and I spent hours on the problem. Probably moving on to another phone.
Summary: this phone was a downgrade from my htc evo 4g 3d...only got it due to loss and theft of two previous evos...this was all i could afford. also, sometimes the touchscreen will just stop responding to touch and the only way to fix it is to pry open the back and pop out the battery...wait , put it back together and wait some more for the whole thing to reboot.
Summary: I had the HTC one V but it broke so I got this phone. Its not a bad phone but I'd say it was a down grade. The phone is pretty slow just navigating around. Sometimes it freezes for a second or two which is just a minor annoyance. I don't have too many apps either. The internet is pretty slow and the youtube is pretty much useless due to the constant stopping and loading.
Cons: battery lasts maybe, if I am lucky, 4 hours. apps close on their own, not the apps, they work fine on my 3 year old Samsung Captivate! old phone works much better! Blank screen happens too often! No problem with Virgin Mobile service.
Summary: I wish I didn't waste my money on this phone. I will be buying something from another company once I can afford to. I have read tons of reviews about samsung's terrible camera's. I had a 5mp camera on a HTC phone which was 20 times better than the 5MP camera on this one. It's slow, it malfunctions all the time and Samsung doesn't care and just wants you to reset the phone.
Pros: You can make calls.
Cons: Phone is dead by lunch. Back light stays on constantly. The camera is worthless, actually goes out of focus when trying to do a mobile check deposit. Samsung just wants to reset everything as their way of helping. Avoid!!
STEER CLEAR: update to jelly bean has Ruined this phone

Summary: UPDATE on 23 June 2013: I've revised this to 2 stars instead of 1 star because i'm holding out hope that Samsung/Virgin will get issues resolved w/a new OTA update at some point. But since updating to jb, i've had nothing but problems with this phone. It's a shame because, as you can see from my glowing review from before (the part that follow this updated review) I really liked the Reverb when it was running on ICS.
