Summary: Switched (upgraded ) so I thought , from optimus elite to this galaxy reverb, I used the reverb for 2 months and then switched back to optimus elite . I dont know if I got a lemon (Reverb) but I have nothing good at all to say about it. Horrible !!!
Summary: On the surface, Reverb appears to be good phone. Cheap price, great reviews and runs the latest Android software. And Virgin had some of the best pricing for smart phone plans. Problem as stated by some of the latter reviews is the auto-update to Jelly Bean turns the phone turn into an battery draining, software hanging dog of a phone. Maybe this is how Samsung is trying to get people to upgrade their phone. Just roll-out a release to make you hate your current phone.
Summary: When I first got this phone it rebooted like 5 times a day. After a few weeks some updates came out that fixed it and it worked great... until the Jellybean update. At first I kept clicking to ignore the update, but after the 10th time it prompted me I finally thought "Okay, the other updates made the phone better, maybe this will too. At least I won't have to keep telling it I don't want to update it." BIG MISTAKE!!!
Summary: This phone was great for a few days, but I did the update and the screen was freezing multiple times a day, as described by other reviewers. I call virgin mobile, they overnight be a new phone, I return the old one. I set up the new phone, and the thing spontaneously reboots, multiple times a day, I seem to be the only one in the world with this issue.
Summary: What a Joke after the Jelly bean Update it was all downhill with random reboots, Slow performance and occasional freezes. I thought it was good with ICS Android but it is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH JELLY BEAN FROM WHAT I've FOUND OUT. Samsung knows all about this and after 1 Virgin replacement (Bought from Best Buy) and THEN 2 SAMSUNG DIRECT REPAIRS its worse than the beginning.
