Summary: This phone on ebay is about half the price of the boost retail price so thats the high point for me, i was able to get a like new phone to replace my dead bb cheaply n quickly. Boost's Android plan gives u everything unlimited for $50 per month and wifi makes youtube work pretty flawlessly.
Summary: Best bang for your buck in the android world! Hands Down! A great entry level phone for anyone entering the android world. Functions just like the high end models for half the price. Downsize, after testing for two weeks, noticed it freezes alot, also has lag. Downside no flash camera!
Summary: it took a few days to learn the phone I came from a blackberry 8350I and once i learned the phone i can do everything that my blackberry did and more i really hate the fact the battery die quick and finding a extened battery is a hard job but it's great for ease of use thanks to the apps all in all...
Summary: This is an entry level Android phone w/an entry level price. I paid ~$170 for mine from the website when it first came out. I noticed for Xmas 2011 they were offering 40% off promotions on their phones.
Summary: I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and finally purchased the Galaxy Prevail for Boost from an Amazon seller. The phone is solid and pretty good construction, until you get to the back cover. It is super flimsy and will break if you drop it on a bed of feathers!
Summary: This was my first touch screen telephone and it has taken me some time to get used to this difference. I dont feel that the manaul provided good practical instruction so I just keep experimenting with it.
Summary: The samsung galaxy prevail is overall a cool phone and has many features, however I have had several technical problems with the phone, such as not receiving text messages and having to have my entire phone reset to factory settings a few times in order to receive my messages, poor internet...
Excerpt: I like it a bit for what I use it for. I bring it to work, listen to tunes, etc etc, and if it breaks, it was only 155 dollars. I can't imagine bringing a 500 dollar phone to work with me. The battery life sucks if you are on it all the time. And it takes forever to charge..No flash sucks.
Pros: affordable, no contract
Cons: no flash and camera is just ok, freezes, rarely, but still, battery life and charge time
