Summary: I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Prevail for Boost Mobile thinking that I was getting a great deal on an Android smartphone, but I wasn't aware of how severely limited this device would be. I have no complaint about the service; for the price, Boost Mobile is a great service. The Samsung Galaxy Prevail, however, should not be sold on the market. It's that bad. The cell was advertised as Android 2.2, but little did I know that flash does not work on it.

Pros: Looks like a good touch screen. Affordable.
Cons: Intermittent problems reading SD card. Freezes randomly and requires restart. Biggest problem is that 3 months into ownership the battery will no longer charge, giving the error "Unable to charge non supported battery. See user manual."
"Useless piece of junk even Samsung won't stand behind!"

Pros: None! Even it' small size makes it easy to drop if you're not careful.
Cons: Everything! It routinely clears out your contact list; if someone calls while your on the phone it hangs up on both parties and picks someone out of your contact list to call (if it hasn't deleted all of them again yet!) Sound quality a 0!
Cons: The Phones Suck. The touch pad is not responsive. The major problem which has not been resolved since phone has been produced is a double lock feature which prevents the user from accessing the screen while on a call. One must continue to press the power
