"HATE phone! Comes w/unwanted apps I cannot uninstall."

tula2, CNET
6 July 2013
  • Pros: It still works after 2 years, and has had no significant tech problems.
  • Cons: This phone comes programmed w/very many apps that cannot be uninstalled or moved to a SD card. Therefore, there is hardly any memory to install apps that I want and forget about the updates. This phone has only caused extreme frustration.

  • Summary: The connection for wifi is better, the sound quality is better. It is sloooowwwwwww, but heck if my 3 year old needs a netflix connection half the time this one has one while my other phone doesn't!

Great smart phone on a cheap budget

Marie, Amazon
30 November 2012
  • Summary: This is a great phone for someone on a budget, like me, who can't afford a more expensive unit. There is limited space on this phone and not all apps can be moved to the sd card (like facebook) without tampering with the "computer stuff." But overall you can't beat not paying $300 for a phone and only a monthly bill of $50!

Samsung Galaxy Prevail is a good deal on ebay despite flaws.

dawnhewitt12, Ebay
9 September 2012
  • Summary: This phone on ebay is about half the price of the boost retail price so thats the high point for me, i was able to get a like new phone to replace my dead bb cheaply n quickly. Boost's Android plan gives u everything unlimited for $50 per month and wifi makes youtube work pretty flawlessly. The handset is small but I don't have a problem with that. However, there is a reason for the low price point.
