Not as good as mentioned in some of the reviews

  • Excerpt: Main plus side is the screen size, but this is where the problems start since bigger screen equals more drain on the battery so you can literally see the battery power going down before your eyes if you are a frequent user of this beast. The build quality in relation to its price is poor. I had mine for about 13 months and the power button got stuck, plus all sort of other niggling problems.

Best phone I've ever had

  • Excerpt: People thought I was crazy. Now its 2013 and everyone wants a phablet. This was and still the original champ. Loved everything about it. Granted I got tired of TouchWiz but this phone was still the best at everyhting. Phone calls are clear, screen quality is superb, touch screen is responsive and the camera is still one of my favorites. The build is great overall and after 3 years of use the plastic materials are still in great shape.

"nice but not as responsive as i thought"

  • Pros: big screen and tons of features.
  • Cons: unresponsive sometimes. The UI is not that smooth especially if you're used to Apple product. Plastic material that makes it looks cheap. The AMOLED as what they call it looks like looking in a comics book....very saturated colors.

  • Pros: Specs are really good
  • Cons: Looking at the specs, Galaxy Note is good. But the only problem is its size. http://technologicalnotes.blogspot.in/2012/02/problem-with-samsung-galaxy-note.html

"NOT WORTH THE PRICE TAG !!"

_MrP_, CNET
14 December 2011
  • Pros: The device looks good The resolution and screen vibrancy is awsome Browing the internet while standing in a queue is easy because the device can easily be held in one hand The expandability of memory via sd card is cool as opposed to ipad.
  • Cons: Lots of APP icons nice and colourfull. To do what with? dont need em Device didnt perform as fast as one would expect for a 1.4ghz dual core. Price is Unjustifiable, I actually care about that. Internet speeds seemed sluggish with 3g

Change the charging port

  • Summary: I've had this phone for only a year and it shows heavy wear from everyday use. I primarily use it for texts, surfing the internet, and music. Seeing how the Note has such a over sized screen the battery life is okay it lasts me from about 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Also due to the low level of battery life I always have i must have it plugged in regularly. The Micro USB ports are not the greatest decision due to the lack of durability. Blackberries suffer the same problem.
