popping battery cover
25 August 2014
Summary: The phone was delivered quickly and overall it seems to be functioning well. There were a couple minor knicks and scratches on the exterior sides but luckily the screen was scratch free & in very new-like condition. The problem is with the back plate cover. It will not snap on completely and constantly pops off. Even by snapping it in and making sure all is lined up the cover still will not stay on securely.
Excerpt: I lived this phone however the battery life is horrible!!! I can have a full charge soon as I check a few emails, make a Facebook status, or send a text and the phone is going dead. I took it in a few times but the store said it's made like that. Then I bought an extended battery but it made the phone to bulky a case couldn't fit on it and it made the phone heavy. Besides the battery life, it's a good phone!!!!!
Summary: when I ordered this phone I had no idea it was cracked it said nothing about it in the description and in the photos it showed no sign of being cracked until it arrived at my house. It was quite a surprise.
Summary: Bought this to replace my old Nexus that stopped powering up. It came without an antenna but luckily I had my old phone for parts. Works fine otherwise. Sucks it doesnt have all the apps that came with it from Verizon.
Summary: The device is overall a very nice piece of equiopment. However, I am sort of disappointed due to the fact the device does not have an external micro sd memory card. Another disappointment is that the unit does not have an FM Radio Tuner. Too bad. Regarding all its other aspects and features, I am quite pleased.
Summary: phone is good. however all accesories including the battery and manual are either not from this model, defective or fake copies. The nfc antenna for this phone is supposed to come inside the battery. But since the battery supplied was either fake or defective the NFC wouldn't work. Had to buy a new battery at my expense.
Summary: it was touted as the be all and the end all of the new smartphone.I find that it is locking up a lot more than most of the phones that I have used in the past.the screen is nice but it is not as wonderful as they say it is. Still better than most. Overall I guess I'm satisfied. Have a hard time recommending it as the wonderful phone they say it is.
Summary: I guess I should have done my homework better. First when receiving this I tried to activate it on-line just to discover I needed a SIM card from Verizon. I went to the local Verizon store and they gave me one for free and activated it for me, but it took an hour in the store. The Droid 3 this replaced had 3 bars in my apartment, this phone has none. I was hoping for the better 4G speeds but have yet to ever see 4G appear and yes, I live in a major city with Verizon 4G.
Summary: The phone itself is great however with jellybean andriod 4.2.2 the battery life is literally 2~3 hours on standby unless you turn off every single thing you can and even then 5 hours seems to be the normal battery life in light use. This is using the extended life 2100mah battery too.
