Great phone for the money would absolutly purchase it again
21 March 2013
Summary: The phone is exactly what I wanted. Since Verizon no longer allows upgrades without loosing your unlimited plan I had to find a financially feasible way to upgrade my phone. The galaxy nexus has a ton of features even though it is almost a couple years old at this points. It is completely covered by cyanogen mod and other groups so software will be available for a while.
Excerpt: this phone is great everything moves in it pretty fast. The battery isnt great its the same size battery as my photon 4g not sure why they did that. Reception for this phone is poor indoors not sure why also wifi signak is weaker then most phones usuallt the same signal no matter what samsung version you have.
The best Android device you can get (besides the Nexus 4)!

Summary: For me, the best Android device you could get until the release of the Nexus 4. Great specs, the best of all, android version always up to date. You can get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. I dont like phone contracts, so having it unlocked is great. If you dont want to spent as much for a Nexus 4, you can look for one of this for a lower price and you will get as much as the same experience of pure android with this baby. Got first one directly from Google.
Summary: This phone is extraordinarily powerful. The processor is extremely fast and it has few to no hiccups. I bought it because I needed to get a new plan and figured I would get a cheaper smart-phone, and I am extremely impressed. It exceeded my expectations by far. The battery life on it is fairly short, but that is to be expected with a phone this powerful.
Smooth and fast. Battery life is sub-par, but can be remedied

Summary: The Galaxy Nexus, despite not being the hot new thing on the market anymore, is still a great piece of tech. Right away, I'll point out that the battery life on this thing is sub par. This is definitely the deal breaker if you're on the fence and battery is a prime concern for you. However, if you're someone who doesn't mind plugging in during the day at some point, then you should be all set.
Summary: Excellent phone. It's nice to not have all the carrier bloat & its even nicer to get Android updates so much quicker than other devices. Battery life is about par with most Android devices (8-12 hours) so plan on having a few chargers around. Would consider Samsung again & would definitely consider another Nexus device in the future.
Great phone! Perfect buy if you're between upgrades or don't want to extend

Summary: I bought the phone to replace my HTC Evo Shift (never buy that phone EVER!). It addressed my most immediate issue (storage), which was great. I wish it had expandable memory (SD card) and better battery life, but it tends to do the job I need fairly well. I also tried beaming to a non-Samsung phone, which didn't work, so I'd like to figure out what's up with that. Otherwise, I love it!
If you are on Verizon and want an Android, get this phone.

Summary: The Galaxy Nexus is a very well designed phone. My biggest issue with this particular Verizon model, is the battery life was absolutely awful, but maybe it was just a bad battery. Still, if you love Android and are on Verizon, you should get this phone, if you want (as close to) a "Pure Google" experience with Android.
