Great Phone, but I am an Android and Nexus user.
4 May 2012
Summary: I truly love the phone. My Nexus S was a great phone. I often thought why would need a different phone for a while? Then I saw the bigger and higher res. screen and was impressed. Then I used it and it is much faster than my Nexus S and that is saying a lot. LTE should be pretty cool too.
Pros: Camera software, Camera Shutter is fast screen is beautiful, I love the screen size and thinness. ICS is great software. Processor is great, multi-tasks with no trouble. Opens apps and especially camera quickly. Battery lasts for me. All Google!
Cons: Maybe Sprint, but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt until LTE is turned on in KC.
Summary: I purchased my phone a week ago today and it has yet to show any flaws of than a couple of "Force Closes" with a few apps which is to be expected via the android platform. i am very satisfied with the performance of this phone, and everyday it just keeps getting better and better as I install new apps.
Summary: this phone is amazing I am really glad to be a droid owner again after owning an iPhone, the iphone was a very boring and blan phone and I'm glad I'm back to the droid because I'm a very advance user and I love a Good challange!!!
Summary: I had been wanting a Nexus phone since the Nexus One came out in early 2010. I was on Sprint at the time, and Google and Sprint announced they were teaming up to release the phone by early summer 2010, same as Verizon, but neither happened. Instead, other devices were released and the Nexus One was canned.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, available extended battery, lte 4g for fast mobile data, slim size
Cons: needed a much more robust sounding speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack is at the bottom, needed higher quality parts for construction
Excerpt: I love the experience on this phone. The screen is beautiful to look out and 4G on Verizon is a dream. Android 4.0 is also very nice especially with the new on screen buttons. Some people don't like the feel and say it's "plasticy" but I personally like the feel and it adds to the nexus's durability.
Summary: I have had my Galaxy Nexus (GNex) for about a week and this is what I have observed. PROS: 1. Super slim profile. 2. Vanilla ICS. No Motoblur, Sense or Touchwiz on this. Just stock Android which helps with speed. I think this is the only phone available with the stock experience. 3. Runs on T-Mobile HSPA+ and AT&T HSPA. The fastest speeds I have gotten were with T-Mobile, 5MBup/5MB down. 4. 720p screen. Super amoled.
