Excerpt: Worst resolution.. Just see a youtube video to get the idea.. Games lag real bad.. Hell, the OS is outdated and rusty. Froyo isn't something you'd want now. Choose any other phone. Let the Pop go. Bought it because the shopkeeper was saying it was a top selling model. Don't get me started on battery and build, please. Take my advice and stay away.
Excerpt: it is very very very baaaad. first : the resolution of the screen is very very very bad 127 ppi. the processor is very very very bad too 600 mhz it is very slow and lagging too espicially in games like angry birds. the galaxy y is better of course.
Summary: Came without an instruction book - why??? Luckily my nephew has the same phone and guided me through this. Not the best phone I have ever had but it will do for now. Battery life very poor - very poor.
Summary: I don't like this phone. It switches off all by itself, sometimes in mid conversation. It is reluctant to connect, even when I have 4 bars and the manual, which I downloaded from the net is rubbish. I only discovered by accident after 6 months of trying how to forward a text. I had to contact Samsung about downloading my photos to the PC, although it took them 2 days to reply.
Summary: The screen locks during calls, the touch screen is awful, they have placed buttons on the side which you cannot help accidentally pressing during calls, the screen back-light goes off far too quick. I'm an ex IT Manager and well used to modern technology but this phone is absolute rubbish. I protest in the strongest possible language about the sheer impracticality of the design.
Summary: After my ancient brick of a mobile fell down a lift (don't ask) I decided it was finally time to venture into the smart phone territory. However as a student, who always relies on emailing rather than texting and calling sadly, I didn't fancy spending too much on a new phone. So I was offered a contract where I'd get this Samsung Galaxy Mini thrown in for free (I think normally it costs around £110-145). If you're looking for a cheap smart phone, then consider this.
Pros: cheap, fast, small and light
Cons: bad photo quality, poor battery life, not as impressive as other smart phones!
