Summary: Overall it's not a bad little phone, its web capability is fine and it has a good user interface but the camera is so poor that I dont even try to use it anymore, it's worse than 1st gen VGA cams. The battery, however, is a joke, It's almost an offence under the trade descriptions act to call it a battery, after an overnight charge, the battery will, with very light use , last until tea time.
Summary: Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 If you are surgically attached to your smartphone, and have lots of experience with them then this is not the review for you, this is a review is aimed at `newbies' like me!!!! Overall this is a very competent smartphone for light usage, or the first time buyer of this type of phone. I have had this phone for about 3 months now, so I thought a review would useful, having had some time to get used to it.
Summary: Good phone for a first time android user. Great to check emails fast, texting a bit awkward because it's not predictive texting but instead a tiny keyboard, am still getting used to it after a month. Otherwise size is great, white looks cool not tacky. Overall quite happy!
Excellent Value for money and packed with features

Summary: I wanted a value for money android and chose this one. The one I purchased was sim free and has no network restrictions. Even has WI-FI tethering option which im sure network locked ones block out as they dont like us doing that do they?? So no need to root the phone to get access to the the hidden features. GREAT. I was worried as so many people were moaning about the battery....
Summary: The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a phone I wouldn't recommend for heavy mobile users, because has got various annoying problems such as the following: Low battery (can barely hold until the end of the day when using 2G internet, forget about 3G if you don't want to constantly charging the battery of your phone); Bad quality WiFi antenna (loses signal easily); WiFi can stop working if using mobile internet (you may need an APN app for that as I did) for a long period - this is...
Excerpt: "...months ago when I purchased Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 recommended by my friend Johan. Its really a cool gadget for me. I love its camera, its voice clarity, its size and all unique functions. I love it. its features are amazing I think you love it. I recommend my friends to buy it. My all other friends are crazy about nokia but I love unique features and durability which provide me Samsung mobiles, I always prefer Samsung mobile phones because its ...
Summary: I am very impressed with this little phone, the size is just right and the good screen combined with what feels like a fast phone makes it a great device. You need to make sure your SIM / phone package allows data at a reasonable cost as first weekend out and about cost £10 extra in data charges (my fault) as it all defaults to data packet = on.
Summary: I bought this after my HTC Desire was stolen. This is a third of the price, and yet the majority of the functions are still there. The main thing I feel I am missing is flash, which is apparently unavailable on this device, so you can't watch many video sites other than youtube unfortunately. Also a camera flash/ flashlight would have been really useful. Otherwise, the screen is quite lo-res so reading text can be hard, but this doesn't feel horrible to me.
Excerpt: "== Samsung Galaxy Mini == === Summary Of The Product === Last year Galaxy released four variants of the same phone, each with a different price tag. The mini was the cheapest of those four. Despite it's name, mini is actually an exaggeration as it's screen size is actually a nice 3.2" touchscreen. Unfortunately this budget bundle only comes with a 3 megapixel photo and video camera which is a bit of a shame when comparing it to it's bigger brothers, ...
Pros: sleek, stylish, robust, feels good in the hand, fast
Good Android phone. Great in poor mobile reception areas.

Summary: I live in a city centre block which has poor mobile reception. I have had to return both a Orange San Francisco and a Samsung Genio Slide GT-B5310 phone as I was unable to make reliable voice calls on either. I have had no problems making voice calls with the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570. I'm really happy with the functionality of this phone. Getting access to Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and general internet browsing is really easy.
