Summary: I was offered this from my contract provider (Hutchinson Three). I don't really use my phone a lot and was not to bothered on what phone i received, but i would say that this is one great phone for its price.
Summary: After my ancient brick of a mobile fell down a lift (don't ask) I decided it was finally time to venture into the smart phone territory. However as a student, who always relies on emailing rather than texting and calling sadly, I didn't fancy spending too much on a new phone. So I was offered a contract where I'd get this Samsung Galaxy Mini thrown in for free (I think normally it costs around £110-145). If you're looking for a cheap smart phone, then consider this.
Pros: cheap, fast, small and light
Cons: bad photo quality, poor battery life, not as impressive as other smart phones!
Excerpt: "...a chance to check out samsung galaxy mini. First impression: Has a small screen 3'14"! But, once you actually see it, it's very very impressive. Unlike other phones with even 3.2" screens, the screen on this phone looks a tad bigger, thanks to more width. Hence typing is definitely easier on this phone. In fact, swype worked very well on this phone. The resolution on the phone isn't anything to talk about but decent enough. The touch response is excellent, ...
Pros: wide touchscreen, great response from the touchwiz 3 . 0, wifi, 3G
Excerpt: This phone is quite good for the price I payed, android based millions of apps and games to download but the battery life if your constantly using it is quite bad, it's not a hefty phone or very strong so I spent some of my money on a phone case. It's a very good phone for the price i would recommend to a friend.
Pros: Good phone android based crystal clear hearing and easy texting.
Cons: Battery life and strength of the phone there okay, but they could be much better.
