Excerpt: Decent smartphone. Touch screen responsive. Wifi fast. Gps with google map with installed text to speech working outstanding. Setup really easy. The keyboard is a little difficult to use -- For the price, features very good deal. The Samsung 5830 probably will be better, but I am happy with this phone's feature and especially price.
Excerpt: Since the notion of “smartphone” has started spreading around, I have always dream of having one of those touch-screen, multifunctional, hypertechnological phones, but either I picked the wrong choice, or I didn’t want to pay much to get one. My very first smartphone was a Nokia 5800 Express Music, but it was very slow, uninteresting apps, and it was nearly impossible to connect to the internet because it kept saying “memory low” all the time…my friends all had an Iphone...
Summary: Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Easy to hold and operate and typing is fabulous and amazing for its compactness. Rest all features are as it's Predecesor S2 (with understandable compromise with screen resolution and camera).
Summary: I wanted to buy a mobile phone for my wife as her Christmas Gift. About three years ago she bought a LG mobile from Carphone Warehouse, which is very difficult to operate as well as adding more funds. After reading all the reviews for the Samsung S6500 I decided to buy this for her. It was a very good surprise and she loved it. Very easy to operate. In addition battery is very good. Best buy for your girl friend or wife.
Summary: I've had this phone for a year now, and it's as good now as it was when I received it despite the knocks and bumps of everyday life. It's a good size and shape, and therefore fits easily into a shirt pocket without making it too bulky, which is exactly what I wanted. I bought a talktalk sim for it and have had no problems, telephone calls are clear, and the internet is reasonably quick, and even quicker if a wireless connection is available.
Summary: I didn't want a smart phone - they are too big and clunky for me in my work environment and I'd just break it. But this was nice and cheap on contract and really compact - no bigger than my old traditional type mobile. Does everything I need and fits on my belt and in my car nicely.
Pros: Compact & plenty of features inc GPS & Sat Nav
Cons: A bit clunky for text entry - battery life not great esp when running apps
