Good Value once battery issues are dealt with in MetroPCS network.

  • Summary: This Samsung Galaxy Indulge is the last of the Android phones with a slide out keyboard for Metro PCS. If you have large fingers that are not touchscreen friendly and hate $100+ phone bills then this may be a good option for you. This runs the older Froyo from 2011 and is not upgradeable so do not expect to run the latest generation of droid apps.

A great little phone

  • Summary: Snappy little phone, battery life a bit short but an extended battery really does the trick.Make sure that you reside in a 4g lte area to get the full experience. Over all i am very impressed with this phone because it has a slide out keyboard and my big fingers do not do well on the android screen keyboard. I am very satisfied with this phone and Metro Pcs ,unlimited service, unlimited data and texting and all for 50 bucks a month What else can one want.

Best phone I have owned even with the neagatives

  • Summary: Previously I had the LG optimus M for metro pcs, But I could not stand, not having a physical qwerty keyboard. This phone was perfect for me even though it comes up short in a few areas. The battery life on the original battery was not great I could get 4 and some times 5 hours of talking and surfing the web. I bought an extended and I get a lot more talk and web time, however it does add to the thickness of the phone, which maybe a turn off to some.

A good phone with some inherent flaws....

  • Summary: I have to say the Galaxy Indulge is a good phone with some inherent flaws. I'm also out side of Metro's 4g network, so my reception is a bit spotty in various places. PROS; Very fast response times on menus, selections, etc... Very well integrated with Google stuff like Gmail and calendar (since it's an Android) Handles like a mini computer with lots of customizing potential.

  • Excerpt: I also upgraded from Optimus M to the Samsung Galaxy Indulge. It is quick and works with only minor hickups. Battery lasts longer than comparable HTC Evo 4G despite being the same speed and similar size. It does 1xRTT base band and LTE 4G. Occationally need to go to recovery console and clear Data Cache Partition to keep data connection working. That process is about 1min of your life.
  • Pros: 4G, No Month-to-Month Contract, Flash Player, Android 2.2, Slide-out Keyboard, Bluetooth 3.0
  • Cons: Metro Bloatware, No Bluetooth 2.1 Backwards Support, Speakers Are Really Small, No AMOLED, Customer Service Can't Support You on This New of a Device Yet (I've tried)
