Summary: Faulty phone, sound quality was muffled no one could make out what I was saying. Phone seal was broken and replaced so I should have sent it straight back. Amazon customer service was amazing full refund in a couple of days.
I've taken the SIM out and put it in my 8 year old Nokia

Summary: I needed a new phone because I wanted something with decent battery life and Bluetooth as well as occasional Internet access while out and about. I got this as a package on a 2 year contract. It is now heading for the toybox of my 5 year old grandchildren as the battery life is about 2 days with everything switched off and no calls. It is so sensitive that it needs a case and a stylus as with adult fingers even making a call is a lottery.
Summary: I bought the Galaxy Fame as a 2nd phone/back up whilst my Galaxy Ace was in for repair. Battery life is dreadful, the worst I have experienced, it will just about see you through 8hours as long as you don't send more than 2 texts and nothing else, and thats with a virtually dark power saving screen and 10second screen lock on. Use the internet and you may as well just stay permanently 'on charge', it drains that quickly.
Summary: It's an ok phone but there are so many other budget phones out there which are so much better in so many ways than the Galaxy Fame. An example is the brand new Motorola Moto G which has far better resolution, better ppi, better camera, larger screen, far better processor. So to be honest, the only reason to get the fame over phones like the Moto G is that it's compact however some people don't like to have a smaller phone.
Pros: Compact, low price, decent camera considering price range
Cons: Awful sluggish performance, Bad resolution, Pixels easy to see
Summary: The phone is fully equipped with nice features but its very sluggish... If you want a fun phone for your kids that allows you to put nice android games its probably a good buy, but if you need to use it a lot its not a good option. Phone book takes forever to open. When you want to dial someone the phone first tries to retrieve information from facebook, google, etc, etc, etc, even if you are not connected to anything.
