Summary: If it had a better battery life I wouldn't have had to buy a new phone within a month after this one. I even bought extra batteries thinking that it might be a bad battery but it wasn't the case. I love the features though. Too bad it didn't work out and I'm left with a bunk phone.
Summary: Haven't had this phone for long but on certain days the battery would take a dive and only last about 7 hours. (gps/wifi/etc were OFF) But other times it would last more than 20 hours. This was likely caused by some 3rd party app that can't be uninstalled because they don't allow you root access. After finding the method to root the phone on androidarea51 I was able to quarantine a bunch of the apps and the battery drain issue was no longer an issue.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: uninstallable apps, short battery life because of apps
Summary: First I bought mine thru AT&T because I was forced by AT&T to replace my G2 Phone or I'd loose $220.00 of collected credits. They did give $20 off to anyone who was already an AT&T Go Phone subscriber bringing the total cost to $129.99 + tax But, here's the big BUT -- Don't buy your phone thru AT&T because they have a $35.00 restocking charge irregardless of reason, even if you receive a defective phone.
Summary: So here it is November 2012 and I've been using this phone since the beginning of September. I regret the purchase. Pros: it is a "smart" phone. Has a querty keyboard. It's a good size for carrying around in tactical pants, and using out of doors. Great reception for western NY and most of the east coast, decent amount of data storage and apps, battery life ok, battery charges quickly (an hour).
Summary: Do you remember when cell phones ran well despite being three years old, run through the washer several times and dropped down several flights of stairs? I do I remember when I got my first samsung phone. It was a little flip phone but it was durable and the only reason I got a new phone was because have a little flip phone was no longer cool. If you are looking for a phone to last you through the years then you should keep on looking.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not at all durable
Summary: Very disappointed with the battery life. Even with most things turned off (wifi, gps, etc) it uses 70% of the battery in about 8 hrs. All the functions appear to work well. It appears you get what you pay for in this case.
Summary: We recently purchased an Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Phone...the charge will only hold for 6 hours.. We did a reboot, as per thier instructions and still will not last.. Not happy with the purchase ..will be purchasing a different phone altogher.
Summary: There is really nothing good I have to say about this phone. The battery never lasts the day, if I use the phone for anything, the battery doesn't last past lunch. There is no radio (I really don't demand a lot of features, but I would have liked this one!) When I play music, the sound interrupts, and there is no speaker, so you can only listed through headphones.
