Returned

Nichole, Amazon
1 May 2014
  • Summary: I returned this because I thought it was like any other "unlocked" phone and I could just put my sim card in and use it. But when I turned it on, there was a message from AT&T saying I needed to purchase a data plan in order to activate the phone and I've never had that issue with any other unlocked phone. I returned it and was refunded instantly without any problems.

Defective phone

Glenn E Kater, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: After our initial problem appearing to be a defective battery, for the sake of expediency and having signed up with a cell phone service, I decided to just purchase a new battery ($44 plus 10mi.). Having installed the new battery on 4/29/14, placing the phone on charge for the day, the problem still exists.

  • Summary: I ultimately had to return this phone due to extremely poor battery life. The battery would not hold a charge for more than six hours. Even with all automatic sync/gps/wifi turned off, the phone would be at 0% battery life each morning. When I checked to see what was draining the battery, the device reported that it was the display, even though the display was not turned on as the phone was not in use.

Battery Life Very Bad

EH, Amazon
19 April 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this phone elsewhere to be certain it was brand new and not a refurb. It has been problematic so far and will probably be returned, especially now that I realize how much the negative reviews of this phone mirror my own experience after one week of use. I really wanted a phone with a sliding keyboard. My last smartphone had a very solid keyboard with proper buttons. This is more like a thin layer of plastic.
