Excerpt: This is my first smarthphone, and do not intend to leave it as soon as it caters very well to my use. Very resistant to drops and knocks, the only fault was that he gave the cable flat screen, which was worn with time (I already have more than 2 years) I even consertei.O only problem is its internal memory is very small (less than 200MB), will not enjoy your CPU (at max 600Mhz) and has no built-in flash.
Everything works well. Easy to use. Good value for money.

Summary: Bought this phone when I switched from Verizon to Straight Talk. Wanted to purchase a cheaper phone to try out Straight Talk service (AT&T is my local carrier for ST). The phone is compact, has a nice slide-out keyboard. The Android 2.3 Operating System works. The camera does not have a LED for flash (or flashlight App) and only has 3.1 megapixels so don't expect super sharp photos.
Summary: Excellent value for the money and useage I wanted. Replaced my flip-phone and PDA for one device with calendar, contacts and phone using a wireless provider that gave a lot of options without a contract (Consumer Cellular). May not be the right phone for a dedicated gearhead that uses the phone all the time and needs the latest and greatest.
Excerpt: The Samsung Galaxy I5510 was my second Android Smartphone. I wanted to get this because of the physical QWERTY slideout keyboard. I wasn't a big fan of virtual keyboards at the time but now I have a Sony Xperia P which is far better. I bought the phone running Android 2.2 but upgraded it to 2.3. It was fine for everyday task like browsing the internet, sending texts, and listening to music which is all I really used ti for.
Pros: physical qwerty keyboard, handles everyday tasks ok, could manage playing many formats, fun phone, expandable memory
Cons: low ppi, low res video recording, slow ui (laaggy)
Summary: is a good phone, it works great and the qwerty keyboard recommended. The Samsung Galaxy 550 is one of the most economic deals Samsung running Android 2.1. It has a screen 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 2 megapixel camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, microSD slot and integration with social networking and Google services.
Summary: This phone is awesome, it has everything I need and is super reliable! I was looking for a simple smartphone with a physical qwerty keyboard and this device delivered! about a year after purchase and I still love this little guy, I recommend it for someone who's looking to save some money, I think it's definitely a great deal for what you pay.
