Summary: After a deep research on the internet about new phones, i decided to change mi Great Nokia 5800 for an android based phone. Galaxy Ace was the best Cost-Benefit choice. Big challenge for me to change my Symbian system, because use to be really stable and well done. Comparing the experience with symbian and nokia phones as a reference, the change to Android is awesome. You can feel the difference due to the best hardware set up... 800Mhz processor and 277MB RAM memory.
Summary: I decided I needed a phone with a decent camera and flash, plus I wanted one with wifi and a large screen (compared to those on standard candybar-style cell phones with keypads). All my friends said, "Get an Android! They're cool!", otherwise I probably would have bought a cheaper Samsung Wave 578 with the Bada OS which the sales clerk showed me at first. But I listened to my friends' advice and decided to get an Android.
Excerpt: Now, this is only my opinion and i'm no phone expert but..... I took this phone on a 24month contract, two years ago. My phone was white and looked really smart...like a small iphone at the time of purchase, that's what made it so attractive. (not to mention the prospect of a nexus7 tablet for 'free' and the reasonable cost) It still looked good after 24 months!
Excerpt: I have had my phone for about 1 year and I am very disappointed with it! I have taken photos on it but when looking at them in gallery, they have either disappeared or the picture itself is out of focus! I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but this doesn't help. Also my phone switches itself off for no reason, but when I want to switch it off myself it won't.I clearly won't be taking any more photos or videos as I cannot view them successfully.
Summary: This phone is really a little gem...handles almost everything you throw at it, the 5MP camera is not bad at all and you can extend the memory by putting in a micro sd card. Extremely great value for money!!
Excerpt: "I can't say this is a bad phone because that would be a lie and overall it is an "okay" phone, I guess. I got this phone in summer 2012 so it was fairly new back then, it had been out for a while so it was pretty expensive (Or at least that's how my mother and I saw it) Being the 16 year old girl I was, of course, I wanted a new, modern, touch screen phone. And this? It was perfect for me. I didn't want a BB or some Apple Product, I have always loved ...
Pros: Battery life is good + the phone itself lived two whole years with me, and I'm pretty clumsy .
Summary: Having always been a basic Nokia girl, I was distraught when my previous Nokia gave up the ghost and I was faced with the prospect of an android or iPhone. So I did my research and thought the Samsung Galaxy Ace would probably be the one I could get my head round! I was delighted with the price at Argos and duly bought it. I'm so glad I did! It truly is very easy to use and understand all the features. I love it!!
