made for Australia market, balky, crashed and dies
14 March 2014
Summary: bought it to use in France with local SIM card; came with Australia market presets and a lot of unwanted news feeds that I could never get rid of; keyboard is small even for my avg size hands and typing was laborious with corrections and autocorrect frustrating; used only a handful of google play-sourced apps for metro service, social media and mapping, it became very slow and was balky, even with moving most apps to micro-SD.
Summary: My phone apparently took a an update that is causing it to reboot every few minutes. Normally this would not worry me but after calling Samsung they inform me that I need to call China to get any support on this phone. I recommend caution unless you want to find yourself in the same situation.
Summary: Phone obviously not checked before sending out . I realise this was a 2nd hand phone and it was a great price. However this phone did not connect to any networks despite being sim free.Tried 3 sims and spoke to Virgin who sent a new sim just in case but said phone was obviously faulty. Not much point if you can't make phone calls. Now has to be sent back with a long wait for a refund!
Summary: I bought this phone 6 months ago assuming it was made in the UK. When it came it had a leaflet in Hungarian and the box said it was dark blue and it was black. As it seemed to be working fine in English when I first switched it one, I stupidly just kept it. It suddenly died after 6 months, Samsung repaired it and sent it back today. I switched it on to be faced with it all in Hungarian!
