Excerpt: Galaxy 5 is one of the best Android phones of its time. Performed well, supported most of the apps while it existed in competition. Later did not even supported the Angry Birds game which was there for the phone earlier.
Summary: It is not the beat one of cell phones, but i believe that for the price is a very good deal. It has most of nice functions, it works very well and has a nice design. It is possible uptade android system, but not for the last ones.

Excerpt: I bought it from ebay.com in Jan 2011 and brought it to India. Was looking stylish compared to the contemporary models. While it was working fine. The bar was getting hot (upto 40-45C) when on charge. The battery goes dry faster. I had to charge every 8 hours.
Excerpt: Good Smartphone for People who want to start in the Android World, It's a good choice, I Like My phone even with their cons, The Camera is Mediocre (2 mp without flash) The Battery Drains Quickly, The Internal Memory (170 mb are u serious ?
Pros: Android (and all the posibilities you have with this OS), Cool Design
Cons: Camera, Battery Life, Internal Memory, Some useless Physicall Buttons
Summary: It's a phone made for the UK, delivered to the US in an opened package, because the seller included a US plug converter, and of course without warranty. A few days later I found it at Fry's for the same price, and same features (unlocked, quad band).
Summary: I only make about 2 cell calls a month and have no need for a data plan. I thought it might be fun to play with, but the $5 monthly data add on didn't work with my sim. I didn't try and pursue it with AT&T so it might be me.
Pros: Inexpensive Android Phone Works with AT&T prepaid service Once the US App store is added - no issues. Decent camera Decent battery life
Cons: Can't get AT&T prepaid data plan to work, but this may be an issue with my older sim card and not the phone.
Summary: This is a great entry-level Android phone! I got it for myself, but gave it away to my nephew as a graduation present because he liked it so much. At the current price point, only a LG Thrive/Optimus/Phoenix is comparable and the Samsung is much higher quality. In the U.S.
Excerpt: This phone is and auto-gift to myself for my birthday :D and I research a lot of a good and cheap phone that was within mi rich, and i found this phone that was the best choice I could make buying it! It's quite fast, very easy to use, with a very nice design and it feels good in your hand!
Summary: I'm brand new to the smartphone world and I really enjoy this phone. My son has an iPhone and I'm enjoying some of the same features at a lower price. The screen size is a little smaller than I thought it would be which makes it a little harder to type. The SWYPE function makes typing easier though.
