Summary: I bought these phones (2 ea.) as gifts for some friends in Kenya. I did not operationally check the phones until I got to Kenya, which was a mistake. It turnrd out that one of the phone would not recognize micro memory card so it usefulness was extremely limitied.
Summary: a moderate smartphone especially for new people in the smartphone world.Easy to operate. The problem however is that it consumes data unnecessarily even if you are not using the internet. And secondly the issue that you cannot sign out of your gmail account and if you do all your downloaded applications are erased
Summary: The device is cheap. It works OK. processor is a bit slow. a solid samsung product. 3g data works fine. unlocked, I can use it anywhere a decent travel phone, but it crashes sometimes and the screen goes black.
Summary: "wish it had a PIN lock feature opposed to the gesture lock because screen not very responsive and locks u out after several attempts.... bought another back up battery because all the amazing android apps drain your phone.... i always buy samsung....always have....always will.....a brand u can trust.... my last phone was a tocco lite......
Summary: I brought this phone because of the price and functions but have been somewhat displeased with the purchase. Firstly, I got the international version which came in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish so that was quite interesting. Because the phone was international, it was not recognized in the USA. To upload the Samsung Kies update i had to use the Samgung UK website. Secondly, I find it very difficult to select items on the screen without touching the wrong selection.

Excerpt: Samsung Galaxy Europa GT- I 5500 ~~~Background~~~ I have had this phone for about a year now and have been very pleased with it. I got it free with my '3' contract and I suppose I was drawn to it because it was smart, slimline and had features enbedded that I already used like social networks and Google search.
Pros: Good screen size, good features for an android
A Smart Phone at a Smart Price, but Not for Beginners

Excerpt: When the battery of my LG Viewty Smart died I decided rather than replace the battery I’d get a new phone (much more fun I’m sure you’ll agree!). However as I only had a few months until my contract ended and I qualified for a free upgrade I didn’t want to get anything too expensive as it would only really be a stop-gap for me.
Pros: Looks good, feature - packed, everything works pretty seamlessly
Cons: Complicated settings menus and configurations
Excerpt: Introduction First of all, I'd like to thank you for reading my review. I'll try to be honest and I'll admit I don't have this phone but I know several people who do and I have had several hours testing this device, if you have any additional opinions or facts that you would like me to edit in that are sensible, please drop a comment! Anyway, enjoy the review! :) P.S.
Pros: Very inexpensive, User friendly, Good range of features, Fairly large battery .
