The Samsung Galaxy 5 i5500 is a mobile phone that utilizes the 2.5G (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) network bandwidth and 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (900/1200 MHz) network. It runs the Android 2.1 operating system and sports a 2.8 inch QVGA TFT LCD display that supports 240 x 320 pixel resolution, a 2.0 megapixel camera, supports a video player for H.263, H.264 and MPEG4 video, an audio player that supports MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ file format, and an FM Radio with RDS. Other features on the Samsung Galaxy 5 i5500 include a 3.5 mm ear jack, integrated messaging social hub, Google Mobile services, Android Market for more applications and content, Augmented Reality with Layer Reality Browser and A-GPS.
