Summary: "Got nothing but praise for this phone! My HTC Hero gave up working half way through contract and needed a cheap Android phone to see me through to the end of my contract. I was a little unsure, expecting it to be very basic for the price. Especially coming from a high spec phone. It plays all the latest apps and games from the Android Market Place (inc Angry Bird and Google Navigation Sat Nav). Battery is better than other smartphones (but still only lasts 1.5 days).
Summary: "Cheapest I could find with WIFI and cant believe my luck. Got it on O2 pay as you go for £89.95 in Carphone Warehouse and cannot fault it at all. I can live without the camera flash considering what I get for my money. No issues yet but only 2 weeks old!
Excerpt: Fast phone with load of custom ROM's database. Absolutely sufficient RAM size, unlike the GT540. A bit too low resolution (PPI) Lame camera Very good battery Small internal memory space Pretty good look, but back cover is a bit too easy to crack Very good phone !
Excerpt: The phone is designed in a way which makes it possible to use any type of applications to its fullest. Overall performance of the phone is also great. The network capability is good and touch screen is working on expected line. In the end, I don’t feel any hesitation in recommending this phone to anyone. In fact, two of my friends have already got this for themselves after my amazing experience with this phone.
Summary: I am impressed with this little phone! Before I get into the nitty gritty, here is some background about my preferences: I'm a new smartphone user. I'm technologically savvy, but not a technological guru. I like a phone that will fit in my pocket. I like a phone that doesn't feel like cheap plastic. I like clear graphics, no-nonsense menus, and speed.
Summary: I wanted a simple, lightweight Android phone for overseas, and settled in with this phone. Granted, my expectations of this phone was value vs. price. True this phone does not have the latest OS, or the newer 5MP+ cameras, but I only paid $220 for this, so I expect a $220 phone with features.
Summary: I got this for my son Dec of 2010. Unfortunately as the world turns. He needed a bigger phone with full keyboard for his Nursing school so they can do bed side instruction using Skyscrape software. Guess who got the "Mini Galaxy". ;-) Anyway. The phone is great. I mean great. Everyone that has problems really shouldn't once you get it "Unlocked". We upgraded it to 2.2 and that was pretty easy. Google is your friend on that one. Not one problem in over 6 months.
