Excerpt: Samsung Electronics has introduced its new slider phone G600 equipped with a 5-megapixel camera. The device is meant, first of all, for users who need to make a quick camera shot anywhere and any time. The camera features panoramic and mosaic modes, LED flash, stabilizer and so on. Excerpt: G600 and G800 are the first Samsung cameraphones that the Korean company proposes as rivals to the 5 Megapixel devices such as Nokia N95, Sony Ericsson K850i and LG Viewty. Further on, we will try to find out whether Samsung manages to enter the race for the number one cameraphone, and its much appraised device, G600, becomes a serious contender for its rivals.
Pros: I don't understand why so many users have criticized the module camera of the slider, as it captures above average snapshots, especially in good light conditions. My advice is to read the manual provided with the phone and understand the settings featured by the interface. Samsung G600 has one of the best cameras ever included in a slider and features the best music quality provided by a Samsung mobile phone. All these are offered at a very low price, one that doesn't...
Cons: There are some minor software glitches that could've been corrected in the latest firmware, but I think I should mention them here as I was unable to update the phone's software. Well, the first is the inability of attaching MP3 files to alarm tones, and the second, the incompatibility with 4GB microSD cards. Also, much better battery autonomy would've made the phone more practical.
Excerpt: Samsung pumps out yet another slider phone, this time it's the G600, a slim slider with a 5-megapixel camera. This basic phone doesn't seem to have much to offer other than its camera so is there anything special about it? What we like The G600's 5-megapixel camera comes with autofocus, 4x digital zoom for taking close-ups and an LED photo.
Conclusion: The Samsung G600 is an excellent device that combines strong multimedia functionality with pretty design and pocket friendly dimensions. If you are looking for a 5-megapixel cameraphone you will surely know the Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson K850 but both are significantly bigger than the G600 in every aspect.
Pros: 5-megapixel camera with lots of options and good quality, User-friendly interface, Pocket friendly dimensions
Cons: Very weak signal reception, Limited phonebook
Summary: While it might not appeal to our tastes, the Samsung is not to be sniffed at. Patience will be rewarded with good-quality images. Just beware of allowing its single, stand-out feature to blind you from its weaknesses.
Excerpt: In this era where most people are gadget-conscious, it is a goal for every mobile company to include the much needed and wanted functions into one device as much as possible. The most wanted gadgets nowadays are the mobile phone, video camera, music player and of course digital cameras. Nowadays, with a very fast paced world, almost everyone are beginning to give so much importance with every day's precious moments and would want it to be captured and stored.
Summary: The Samsung G600 is the successor to the massively popular Samsung U600 and, because it's from the same Ultra Edition II as the U600, we wouldn't be surprised if the G600 didn't enjoy similar sucesses. The device features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a multitude of settings and it also looks pretty good too. So, in this respect, is it actually any good?
Summary: I n my opinion, the Samsung G600 is a mobile phone that is true to its promises. Of course, there are a few minor points for improvement. I would have liked to see the camera perform better in low light conditions. It also would have been better if the SGH-G600 does not have to be opened before you can use the camera. The monitor is good in general, but the Samsung G600 does have difficulty with the reproduction of contrast-rich images.
