Excerpt: The Samsung Freeform is a good phone, however it is a very simple phone. The QWERTY keyboard is useful, but the buttons are extremly small. The Samsung Freeform does not have video camera and if you have a memory card the camera is really slow. A pro of this phone is that you can check your messages without having to unlock the keypad. The battery holds up very well in this phone.
Excerpt: I bought this phone with high hopes. I had to return the first one for technical issues. Now I have the replacement phone and I am starting to have issues with it too. I have only had it for 6 months. It is an easy phone to use. I like the keyboard on it.
Excerpt: The phone itself looks very nice but that is about it. Now this is regarding the Freeform III. The reception is very spotty and mostly 0 - 2 bars but that may be Metro PCS. Battery life is pathetic.......I am charging it EVERY DAY. Some standard functions don't work mainly the picture ID.....not matter the pic and no matter the size it will not display the ID when ringing. Not very happy with this purchase at all. Voice goes in and out much of the time.
Summary: I have gone through 2 phones in less than a month. the first one was due to water damage, evident by the pink/red little tab under the battery color. but my second one has dropped out of my truck this time. there is no change in the water damage tab and the product is doing the same as the first phone.
Excerpt: I don't know why people give this phone good reviews. It is the worst phone i have ever had. I have another phones that costed me less than this one, very simple and it has bars in all areas of my house. But this one doesn't get a good signal any where. The number of dropped calls i get is unbelievable and anoying.
Summary: This phone is so basic and has no frills and is not asthetically pleasing. The buttons are small and hard to push even with my little girl finders. I cannot imagine a man doing anything on the phone without pushing other buttons. The camera only has about 1.3 mega pixles and sucks! I am used to an LG ENV 3, which was awesome! I wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't for the new company I went with to save money.
Excerpt: I recently purchased a Samsung Freeform and plan on returning it tomorrow. The sales associates all recommended this first, since I told them I do a lot of texting, but didn't need a smart phone. I like the phone features and the look of the phone, but there is one MAJOR flaw. You can only have 160 character texts to both send and receive. It's not so much the sending part, but the receiving part.
Pros: good if you like to text quickly
Cons: bad if you like to type/receive more than 3 lines of text
