Just what we needed

Sarah C, Amazon
9 June 2013
  • Summary: My boyfriend broke the screen of his last phone, so we needed a replacement metro phone. This phone is great, it was refurbished so I was a little nervous but it works perfectly fine and looks hardly used. Very happy with this purchase.

Cudos to MetroPCS

italianice, Amazon
25 March 2013
  • Summary: It is true that MetroPCS does not have comprehensive customer service. That's not the whole story: MetroPCS has gr8 coverage, low monthly rates, and no contracts!! I have unlimited text and talk for less than 45$ a month! It's wonderful! no fuss no muss! And, MetroPCS now supports 4G! Rock on MetroPCS!!

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone with high hopes. I had to return the first one for technical issues. Now I have the replacement phone and I am starting to have issues with it too. I have only had it for 6 months. It is an easy phone to use. I like the keyboard on it.

Samsung Freeform is a great phone for the text-aholic

  • Excerpt: I originally bought the Samsung Freeform after my Motorola crush had a run in with liquid on springbreak. Even though the Freeform is a pretty basic phone, I really like the full QWERTY and the long battery life. It would be nice if it had video recording, but that is the only downside. I text a lot and even though I have large fingers, I have gotten used to the small buttons. After having a full QWERTY for the first time, I can't see myself not having one ever again.

Poor performance over all........

  • Excerpt: The phone itself looks very nice but that is about it. Now this is regarding the Freeform III. The reception is very spotty and mostly 0 - 2 bars but that may be Metro PCS. Battery life is pathetic.......I am charging it EVERY DAY. Some standard functions don't work mainly the picture ID.....not matter the pic and no matter the size it will not display the ID when ringing. Not very happy with this purchase at all. Voice goes in and out much of the time.

Its a phone.....

  • Excerpt: This is not the greatest phone, coming from samsung I thought it would be a better phone. I like the overall appearence of the phone, but would of liked it to have more functions. One of the better features is the music player. The battery seems to last alot longer than some of the other phones that I have had in the past. The fact that you can choose your ringtones from your micro SD card is a bonus since it does not download anything.
